During this time, it will be ensured that there is no traffic jam in Gurugram and the route of vehicles will be changed by setting up checkpoints at 14 places.

Virendra Vij, DCP Traffic in Gurugram told ABP Live that Independence Day In view of the parade rehearsal and program to be held in the capital on the occasion of the parade, heavy goods vehicles will be prohibited from entering Delhi. All heavy goods vehicles were banned from 5 pm on Monday to 12 noon on August 13. According to DCP Traffic, entry into Delhi border will be prohibited from 5 pm on August 14 to 12 noon on August 15. During this time, there will be no restriction on vehicles carrying essential goods such as milk, fruits, vegetables, ambulance, fire brigade etc. while going towards Delhi.
Avoid going to these places
On the occasion of 15th August, Delhi Police has appealed to people not to go to many places. On 15th August, Netaji Subhash Road, Lothian Road, SP Mukherjee Marg, Chandni Chowk Road, Nishad Raj Marg, Link Road and Rajghat Road along with the flyover from ISBT to IP will remain closed. Police said that this restriction will be in place from 4 am to 11 pm. Apart from this, you may face inconvenience due to heavy traffic jam in the area around Red Fort. You will have to avoid going to Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid and Sadar Bazaar.
